Meanwhile, sylvari are beginning to experience prejudice at the hands of Lion's Arch survivors, who blame the sylvari for Scarlet. A group of black-market traders in the Brisban Wildlands have been disrupting the economy of Divinity's Reach, and the Seraph are preparing to investigate. Outside of Lion's Arch, the rest of the world continues apace. As the Breachmaker drilled into the earth, it disrupted a major ley line, one of the channels that guides magic across the world, causing the dragon to awaken long before it should have. Although the true motive of Scarlet's schemes are not yet clear, one thing is: her plan all along was to raise the Elder Jungle Dragon, Mordremoth.
